As a key member of the buying team, you will be responsible for driving strategic direction in kidswear.
The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs. You will develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve product quality, and reduce costs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Contributing to divisional buying and merchandising strategy development
- Collaborating with merchandising team to ensure timely delivery of merchandise that meets assigned purchase orders
- Identifying future product opportunities through market research and staying up-to-date on technological trends
- Collaborating with marketing and design teams to develop visual merchandising promotions and product presentations
- Developing and sourcing high-quality products at optimal pricing
- Managing vendor relationships to achieve best costs and margins
- Maintaining thorough understanding of competitor activities and market trends
- Reviewing and adjusting season plans and weekly plans to optimize sales and profitability
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and merchandising, to drive business results.
We are looking for highly motivated and experienced professional with passion for kidswear and merchandising.
To succeed in this role, you should have bachelor's degree in fashion or related field, with 8-12 years of experience in kids buying and merchandising.
