Solar Energy Connection Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Solar Energy Connection Coordinator.

  • Assist in preparing and submitting interconnection applications to utilities.
  • Support the collection and review of technical data required for interconnection processes.
  • Communicate with utility representatives under guidance from senior team members.

As a Solar Energy Connection Coordinator, you will be trained to coordinate with utility companies, prepare applications, and support project teams in achieving interconnection approvals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of applications, approvals, and utility correspondence.
  • Stay updated on basic interconnection rules, policies, and procedures.
  • Support project permitting and engineering teams with interconnection requirements.

You will have the opportunity to participate in training sessions to gain knowledge of power systems, utility processes, and solar project development.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma.
  • Interest in renewable energy and willingness to learn utility interconnection processes.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and power flow (preferred).

Strong communication and coordination skills, good organizational skills, and the ability to manage tasks with attention to detail are essential. Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is also required.
