Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in Java and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation, as well as expertise in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Java.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium and mobile applications using Appium, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), and collaborating with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

The role also involves performing regression testing, identifying bugs, and working with the development team to resolve issues. Additionally, the successful candidate will maintain test documentation and contribute to test strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Java.
  • Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium and mobile applications using Appium.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
  • Perform regression testing, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
  • Maintain test documentation and contribute to test strategy.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in Java.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
  • Experience with Appium for Android and iOS mobile automation.
  • Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Good knowledge of REST API testing (using tools like Postman or RestAssured is a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
