Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Python Automation Test Engineer to join our team at Genpact India Private Limited. As a key member of our ETL Datawarehouse Testing team, you will be responsible for designing and developing comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Manage test case life cycle.
- Execute and analyze manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure the quality of software applications.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure that test cases are aligned with development goals and timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper testing coverage and effective communication of test results.
- Ability to manage repeatable standard processes along with an ability to find, own, and resolve ad-hoc issues.
- Hands-on experience in test executing using AWS services, technically proficient in services such as MKS, EKS, Redshift, S3.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience in testing data pipelines on AWS.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python test automation skills, and data manipulation techniques.
