We are seeking a skilled Printer Support Specialist to manage and support Print Environment, including printers, print servers, configurations, installations, validations, and troubleshooting issues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our printing infrastructure.

• Knowledge of printers, plotters, and Printing from a Mainframe.
• Mainframe >> VPS >> VPSX
• OCR - documents from Mainframe - hold the queue in Mainframe and release to fix print issues
• Software installation and upgrades activities.
• Badge Authentication and badge issues.
• Printer troubleshooting issues like driver installation, mapping of printers, print queues, and new printer requests.
• How to handle hardware issues related to printers.
• Managing print services on the server.
• Patching activities on print servers and validations.
• Leading the vendor calls.
• Health checks, weekly highlights, and monthly reports.
• Handling p1, p2 tickets and handling MI's.
• RCA.
• Creating and reviewing the SOPs.
• Monitor and manage enterprise print services using OMPlus and LRS VPSX for print job routing, auditing, and failover.

• OMPlus- For centralised job control and monitoring.
• LRS VPSX – For output management and delivery.
• HP Web Jetadmin- for Device discovery, configuration, and firmware updates.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user print issues – including print errors, Print queue issues, new printer requests and connectivity problems.
• Manage print drivers and firmware upgrades.
• OS knowledge ( Windows Server/Unix server )
