We are seeking a skilled Power BI Tester to fulfill this critical role.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hands-on experience in QA with at least 6 years of experience is essential.
  • Around 2-4 years of experience in PBI report dashboard testing is required.
  • Experience in testing the visualization cosmetics of Power BI reports is crucial.
  • Strong experience in validating the data and the DAX based measures in Power BI is necessary.
  • Should have good understanding of ETL, Informatica IDQ or IICS.
  • Experience in Data Warehouse projects ETL testing against DW testing with Informatica, Ab Initio, and data stage tools.
  • Overseeing Test Data Management, creating test data suite, tracking the results, and using for regression testing.
  • Should be well-versed in writing SQL queries.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Work with multiple LOBs, support neighbor team testing, UAT.
  • Should have root cause analysis skills, able to quickly analyze and interpret.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of experience as a QA tester.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Power BI reports and dashboards testing.
  • Strong experience in validating data and DAX based measures.
  • Good understanding of ETL, Informatica, and SQL.
