Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and automation testing, as well as expertise in functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, negative, and database validation.

The Quality Assurance Test Engineer will work on a new development project that will impact the entire organization. This role will involve working with cross-functional teams to create a centralized repository for risk management, where data can be shared and utilized by teams across the organization.

This position requires strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with Product Owners, Technical Project Managers/Agile Coaches, and Developers. The successful candidate will also have experience with CI/CD and pipeline deployments, Big Query, SQL, Java, and Selenium.

  • Create a fully fleshed out QA process, procedures, test approach, and define, introduce, enforce, and own the QA process.
  • Develop and maintain automated tests using Selenium and Java.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with the Manager and create a go-forward plan.
  • Investigate and provide documentation for the project.
  • Work with multiple query languages such as SQL and BigQuery.
Required Skills and Qualifications

At least 5+ years of testing experience in both manual and automation environments.

  • Experience with the following tech stack: Big Query, SQL, Java, and Selenium.
  • Experience writing test approaches and acceptance criteria in Gherkin.
  • Experience implementing quality control and assessing after implementation.
