Warehouse Operations Specialist

About this role:

This role requires an experienced Warehouse Operations Specialist to contribute to full-cycle SAP EWM implementations, rollouts, and system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in configuring and supporting warehouse operations, including picking and putaway strategies, handling units and packing specifications, warehouse task and warehouse order management, storage control, inventory and replenishment processes.

The specialist will work closely with technical teams to conduct blueprinting workshops, define warehouse process flows, and map business requirements into scalable SAP EWM solutions. Key responsibilities include collaborating on enhancements, custom developments, and third-party system integrations, as well as leading cutover activities, data migration for warehouse objects, and end-user training.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • 6–9 years of hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
  • Expertise in configuring and supporting warehouse operations, including picking and putaway strategies, handling units and packing specifications, warehouse task and warehouse order management, storage control, inventory and replenishment processes
  • Proficient in working with RF Framework and Mobile Device Integration, IDocs, BAPIs, and custom interfaces
  • Experience integrating EWM with core SAP modules: Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), Sales and Distribution (SD), Quality Management (QM)
