Financial Operations Specialist – Bangalore Job Description

At Hoovu Fresh, we're scaling our finance team to strengthen our financial backbone. To achieve this goal, we're looking for a process-driven Financial Operations Specialist who can take full ownership of accounting operations, compliance, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting – General Ledger entries, bank reconciliations, vendor/customer ledgers
  • Handle accounts payable & receivable, billing, and reconciliations
  • Ensure timely monthly closures (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
  • Manage statutory compliance – GST, TDS filings
  • Support audits with schedules and documentation
  • Generate Management Information System reports and provide insights on expenses, collections, and cash flow
  • Implement internal controls and process improvements
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting
  • 5–7 years' accounting experience with strong GST knowledge
  • Experience with Zoho Books (preferred) or similar systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
