Job Title: Data Engineering Expert with GCP

Greetings, we are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The role involves working on data pipelines and ETL processes using GCP Cloud.

This is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home or office. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data systems.

The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of GCP services such as GCS, PubSub, Dataflow, DataProc, Bigquery, Airflow/Composer, and Python/Java programming languages.

We are looking for a candidate who can manage batch and streaming data ingestion, build end-to-end data pipelines, and design databases (SQL and NoSQL) on-premise and on-cloud.

Requirements:

  • GCP - GCS, PubSub, Dataflow or DataProc, Bigquery, Airflow/Composer, Python(preferred)/Java
  • ETL on GCP Cloud - Build pipelines (Python/Java) + Scripting, Best Practices, Challenges
  • Knowledge of Batch and Streaming data ingestion, build End to Data pipelines on GCP
  • Knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL), On-Premise and On-Cloud, SQL vs No SQL, Types of No-SQL DB (At least 2 databases)
  • Data Warehouse concepts - Beginner to Intermediate level
