About this role

We are seeking a talented Web Development Intern to join our team. As a key member of our digital marketing and PR agency, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects and develop your skills in web development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Shopify and WordPress, as well as a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will be responsible for assisting in developing and maintaining Shopify websites for clients, customizing themes and apps as needed, and supporting the build and update of WordPress websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Shopify websites for clients.
  • Customize Shopify themes and apps to meet project requirements.
  • Support the build and update of WordPress websites.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure website alignment with brand identity.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and maintain websites for functionality and responsiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in web development.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience with Shopify (projects, freelance, or coursework).
  • Basic working knowledge of WordPress.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics.
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
