Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Technical Writer to join our mission of creating clear and user-friendly content for end users. As a key member of our documentation team, you will work alongside product consultants, developers, QA teams, and other technical writers.

Your main responsibilities include writing, editing, and maintaining software documentation including user guides, release notes, and onboarding training content.

  • Gather technical information from software architects, engineers, developers, QA, and consultant teams to translate it into clear and accurate documentation.
  • Follow internal documentation guidelines and processes.
  • Organize and structure content with focus on clarity.
  • Help identify content gaps to improve the overall quality of documentation.
  • Participate in peer reviews and incorporate feedback diligently from external reviewers.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in writing and be eager to learn more about software, different domains, and technical writing best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree / BE/B-Tech or equivalent in a technical field.
  • 1-3 years in writing technical documents.
  • A strong interest in technology and the software development lifecycle.
  • The ability to understand technical concepts and ask insightful questions to clarify them.
  • A good working knowledge of agile development processes.
  • An organized, detail-oriented approach.
  • Excellent written communication and editing skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
