Business Intelligence Developer

Job Overview

  • Develop, implement, and support reports and analytics using business intelligence platforms.
  • Utilize Agile methodology to design, develop, test, and deploy reporting features and functions.
  • Design and create queries to provide ad hoc reports, analysis, and datasets based on business needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and identify business opportunities.
  • Deliver high-quality solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

  1. Design, develop, and maintain complex reports and dashboards using BI tools and software.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate reporting capabilities into existing systems.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to report development and deployment.
  4. Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  5. Participate in the development of technical documentation and knowledge base articles.

Requirements

  • Proficient in SQL development and proficient in data modeling techniques.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with JasperReports and/or other BI platforms.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
