Network Infrastructure Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Network Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement, maintain, and optimize our network infrastructure. This role involves ensuring high availability, security, and performance of systems to support business operations.

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN, VAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi networks
  • Configuring management devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
  • Monitoring network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues
  • Ensuring network security by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols
  • Collaborating with ISPs and vendors to ensure reliable internet connectivity
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of server operating systems like Windows and Linux, proficiency in networking protocols TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and experience with virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is also required.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Certifications include Cisco CCNP/CCNA, CompTIA Network+, and CompTIA Server+. Experience in network administration, enterprise-grade infrastructure, and project management are required for this position.

Work Environment

This role involves on-site work model, may require after-hours support during emergencies or scheduled maintenance, and collaboration with IT teams, vendors, and external service providers.
