We are seeking a seasoned backend engineering manager with deep expertise in Golang and Python to lead our backend team.">


The ideal candidate has 9+ years of experience in backend technologies and 2–3 years of proven engineering management experience, having successfully scaled systems, led appraisal cycles, and shipped B2C applications in collaboration with product teams.

As a Backend Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing backend engineering team (10+ engineers).


Key responsibilities include:

  • Successfully run performance appraisal cycles with structured feedback and progression planning">
  • Oversee design and development of backend systems operating at 10K+ RPM scale">


Requirements:


Experience: 9+ years of professional experience in backend technologies.

~2–3 years as an Engineering Manager, leading teams and driving delivery.

">


Strong hands-on expertise in Golang and Python.

">


Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and cloud platforms.

">


Strong experience working with product managers to deliver consumer-facing applications.

">


Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

">


Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

">


Previous leadership experience in B2C product companies operating at scale.
