Job Description:

The role of a SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) planning expert is to oversee the configuration and optimization of the SAP IBP system to support supply chain and demand planning processes. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the system aligns with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Configuration: Configure and customize the SAP IBP system to meet supply chain and demand planning requirements, ensuring settings are aligned with best practices.
  • Implementation: Lead or contribute to the implementation of SAP IBP, including data integration, master data management, and the development of planning models.
  • Data Management: Oversee the quality and accuracy of data within SAP IBP, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments such as supply chain, sales, marketing, and finance to understand their planning needs and ensure the SAP IBP system supports these requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement within the SAP IBP system, suggest enhancements, and implement changes to optimize planning processes.
