We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team at Pebble. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and operating large-scale, high-performance, cloud-native infrastructure systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Kubernetes architecture and operations, as well as experience in cloud-native infrastructure, AWS, GCP, or Azure. They should also be familiar with modern scripting and programming languages, such as Go or Python.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build large-scale, high-performance, cloud-native infrastructure systems
  • Develop cost optimization strategies for cloud services and infrastructure utilization
  • Build internal platform services, such as CI/CD pipelines and observability stacks, for use by engineering teams across the company
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or CDK for reproducible and auditable infrastructure changes

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering roles
  • Expertise in cloud-native infrastructure—AWS, GCP, or Azure—with deep hands-on experience
  • Strong background in Kubernetes architecture and operations (schedulers, K8s internals)
  • Experience building internal developer platforms, control planes, or service frameworks
  • Familiarity with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and CI/CD tools
  • Experience with infra/security compliance in production-grade environments (e.g., PCI, SOC 2, ISO)
