Fullstack Developer for Solar Energy Systems

The Opportunity
As a Fullstack Software Engineer in our Cloud Engineering group, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that impact millions of users worldwide. You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-based software services and modules that cater to various stakeholders of the company, including homeowners, installers, and customer support teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly scalable distributed applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Implement micro-services architecture with Kubernetes deployment and ensure seamless integration with our existing systems.
- Rapidly prototype technologies, tools, and components for evaluation and feedback.
- Develop scalable, reliable, performant, and secure applications and services in the realm of micro-services, web services, batch jobs, web applications, data processing, and device integration (IoT).
- Utilize best design patterns, data structures, and algorithms to develop high-quality software programs.
- Follow and implement best-of-breed software engineering processes, including clean code, test automation (TDD), monitoring, performance benchmarking, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver feature changes and functional additions that handle millions of requests per day while adhering to quality and schedule targets.
You Will Thrive Here If
- You have a strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a top-tier college and >70% marks.
- You have at least 2+ years of professional experience as a Fullstack developer, including experience with React.js and related tools and libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router, etc.).
- You possess expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend technologies, as well as good understanding of Fullstack architecture principles, state management, and component design patterns.
- You have experience with RESTful APIs and Springboot integration, familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern development tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- You have experience with unit testing (e.g., Jest, Mocha) and end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress, Plural), performance optimization techniques for web applications, and decent knowledge in TypeScript and its integration with React.
