U-SET is Seeking a Dedicated Java Developer

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our cloud-based development team. As a Java Developer at U-SET, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying applications on AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
  • AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and others to deploy, manage, and scale applications.
  • Microservices Architecture: Develop and deploy microservices architectures using Java and AWS technologies.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using AWS tools like CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • API Development: Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end applications and third-party services.
  • Database Management: Work with AWS databases (e.g., DynamoDB, RDS) and manage data storage and retrieval processes.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability in a cloud environment.
  • Security: Implement security best practices in AWS, including IAM roles, encryption, and VPC configurations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for applications, processes, and AWS configurations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Java and related frameworks e.g., Spring, Hibernate.
    • Strong understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS K8S, Java/ Spring Boot, Lambda, Kafka, S3, Aurora DB, AWS Cloud.
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle).
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
