Job Title: Software Developer Specialist

Role Description:

  • Perform in-depth software development work on the bank's IT Platform Infrastructure, covering analysis, development, and administration.
  • Take strategic oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.
  • Implement reliability and resiliency into solutions with thorough testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering solutions.
  • Guarantee that solutions are well-architected and can be integrated seamlessly into the end-to-end business process flow.
  • Review engineering plans and quality to drive re-use and enhance engineering capability.
  • Participate in industry forums to promote adoption of innovative technologies, tools, and solutions in the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and unit test software applications.
  • Ensure high-quality, maintainable, scalable, and high-performing software applications are delivered to users in an Agile development environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Java solution design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Java Spring Boot development.
  • Theoretical knowledge of design patterns and anti-patterns in Java, particularly in Java Spring Boot.
  • Practical experience working with APIs and microservices, integrating external and internal web services, including SOAP, XML, REST, JSON.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud development platforms, including Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with software design patterns, UML design, and integration design patterns with Kafka.
  • Able to work independently, requiring minimal technical guidance.
