Policy Center Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced Policy Center Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development and a passion for working with Guidewire Policy Center.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with subject matter experts, and contribute to the future development of our platform.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with GW Integration Gateway Frameworks, a deep understanding of common integration design patterns, and expertise in GW Rating and Admin management.
  • They will also be proficient in one programming language (Java or Python) and hold certifications such as Guidewire Cloud Certified Associate Developer and Guidewire Cloud Certified Integration Specialist.
About the Role

As a Policy Center Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and unit testing enhancements and defects in Guidewire Policy Center. You will also contribute to the development of future features as a key member of our development team.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with digital product teams and subject matter experts to design and develop approaches for configuration, effort estimation, and build of design documents.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration and Integration
  • Hands-on experience in working on GW Integration Gateway Frameworks, knowledge of common integration design patterns used by Policy Center, including the typical internal and external systems that are common
  • Expertise in GW Rating and Admin management
  • Hands-on experience in working on one programming language (JAVA or Python)
  • Certification: MUST have Guidewire Cloud Certified Associate Developer, Guidewire Cloud Certified Integration Specialist
  • Experience in the Canadian Personal Line Insurance industry domain
  • Help with production support for the platform by analyzing logs and identifying potential problems and defects, and root cause analysis of problems for the highly available business solution
