Job Description

As an Operation Theatre Matron, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the OT. You will supervise pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care, ensuring patient safety and dignity are maintained throughout surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise clinical teams to maintain high standards of patient care and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Lead staff management and mentorship programs to ensure team members develop their skills and expertise.
  • Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, OT technicians, and housekeeping for efficient OT functioning.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as documentation, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent leadership and communication skills. A strong understanding of hospital policies, regulations, and accreditation standards is also essential.
