Job Role

Key responsibilities for this position include developing, constructing, testing, and maintaining large-scale data acquisition pipelines.

  • Design, implement, and maintain data ingestion systems to collect structured and unstructured data from various sources.
  • Develop and manage complex datasets based on business requirements.
  • Build scalable data pipeline architectures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business clients to identify opportunities for data acquisition.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements.

Proficiency in the Google Cloud Ecosystem, including Python, Data Flow, DataStream, CDC (Change Data Capture), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage is expected. Additionally, knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD practices, such as GitHub and Terraform is necessary.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building efficient data ingestion pipelines, recommending ways to improve data quality, reliability, and efficiency, and ensuring the scalability of data pipelines.
