Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the month and quarter-end closing processes for a legal entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee local statutory audits, including preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Analyze risks over accounts and areas of responsibility to maintain financial integrity.
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations consistent with accounting policies and standards.
  • Research and document company position on technical accounting issues.

Tax and Compliance Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of tax calculations, estimates, and reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate tax returns.
  • Support tax team in managing regional tax initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or related field; CA/CPA qualification required.
  • 4-6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting and tax compliances.
  • Expertise in end-to-end legal entity level accounts finalization as per IFRS/Ind AS accounting standards.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of tax accounting, withholding tax, regular tax compliance, transfer pricing, and GST.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
