We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications, web platforms, and Progressive Web Applications. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and executing automated test solutions that leverage your expertise with Artificial Intelligence powered tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks for native mobile apps, web applications, and PWAs using Java.
  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive automated test suites, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools and techniques into our testing workflows to improve test case generation, defect prediction, visual regression testing, and overall automation efficiency.
  • Maintain existing test automation frameworks, tools, and documentation to ensure they are efficient, reliable, and easy to use.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to test engineering teams in their automation efforts and help troubleshoot complex automation issues.
  • Expand the capabilities of the automation framework to seamlessly support testing across various environments and develop automated component tests to validate individual component behavior.
  • Create detailed, well-structured automation test plans and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop innovative testing processes and methodologies for new and existing products to meet evolving needs.
  • Set up and maintain test automation frameworks across multiple application platforms (Web, Android, iOS, and backend systems).
  • Communicate bug reports effectively to the development team, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with deployment teams to identify and resolve any system-level issues during the release process.
  • Contribute to building and managing automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Investigate and recommend suitable automated testing tools and technologies based on project requirements and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of proven practical experience in Software Testing or a related role with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Deep understanding of Automation testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in setting up and maintaining automation testing frameworks for Native Apps, Web applications, PWAs, and API testing.
  • Strong proficiency in using testing tools and technologies such as Jira, Git, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured, TestNG, Cucumber, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity and practical experience with AI-powered tools and techniques relevant to software testing.
  • Solid experience as a Java Developer, SDET, or Test Automation Engineer with strong coding skills in Java.
  • Significant experience in automating various software layers (UI, services, APIs, etc.), debugging applications, and automated test scripts.
  • Ability to programmatically test your own code and contribute to code quality.
  • Understanding of design patterns, data structures, and layered architecture.
  • Proven experience working within Agile process management methodologies.
  • Able to evaluate and select suitable automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Performance testing concepts and Linux/Unix commands.
