Job Description
  • Lead the design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications for seamless manufacturing operations
  • Architect and implement real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions
  • Ensure secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols
  • Manage industrial databases for high availability and performance
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs
  • Provide technical leadership in digital transformation initiatives such as Industry 4.0 smart manufacturing and predictive analytics
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing SCADA/MES deployments to ensure minimal downtime
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge sharing across the engineering team
  • Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc.
  • Proficiency with database technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies
  • REST APIs for system interconnectivity
  • MQTT for IIoT messaging and lightweight communication
  • OPC UA for industrial interoperability
  • Strong knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA, HMIs, and plant floor connectivity
  • Familiarity with manufacturing standards (ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443)
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms (Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) for SCADA/MES deployments
  • Experience in working on large-scale digital transformation Industry 4.0 projects
  • Certifications (Ignition Gold Certified Specialist, OPC UA, or relevant industrial IT/OT certifications)
