  • Validate content delivery across multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Roku, Smart TVs, web browsers) and CDNs (e.g., Akamai).
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing for OTT applications.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases.
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases for OTT platforms.
  • Testing video streaming workflows, including encoding, packaging, and delivery.
  • Validating content delivery across multiple platforms and CDNs.
  • Performing functional, regression, performance, and compatibility testing for OTT applications.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using defect tracking tools.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • 6+ years of experience as a QA Engineer.
  • At least 1-2 years in the OTT or media streaming industry.
  • Strong understanding of video streaming protocols (HLS, DASH) and OTT platform testing requirements.
  • Experience testing on multiple devices and platforms.
  • Proficiency in test management tools and defect tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages.
  • Knowledge of CDNs, DRM systems, and OTT monetization workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
