SAP FICO Specialist Role

 

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Configure and implement SAP FI system settings, including chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, posting periods, and currencies.
  • Process financial transactions, including journal entries, recurring entries, and payment processing.
  • Manage SAP transaction codes related to FI, such as FB01, F-02, F110, FBL1N, FBL5N.
  • Integrate SAP FI with other modules like MM, SD, and CO.
  • Generate financial statements and audit reports using SAP FI reporting and analytics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FI system issues and errors.
  • Assist with SAP financial closing processes, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Migrate data using SAP tools like LSMW, BAPIs, and IDOCs.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory and compliance requirements, such as IFRS, GAAP, and tax laws.
  • Implement SAP S/4HANA Finance features and support manufacturing finance in ECC 6.0 environments.

  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with business users and technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving capability to quickly diagnose and fix FI functional issues.
  • Ability to document functional specs, configuration details, and user manuals.
  • Team collaboration and leadership for project coordination and mentoring.
