As a seasoned data engineering professional, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing large-scale data processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data processing architectures
  • Develop real-time and close-to-real-time data integrations using Kafka, MS Event Hubs, and other relevant tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, and implement business intelligence dashboards and data models using PowerBI, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse
  • Ensure data security, integrity, and quality by implementing robust data governance practices and monitoring data pipelines for performance and scalability issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
  • At least 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering with extensive knowledge of SQL, Azure Data Factory, Data Bricks, MS Synapse, Python, or other relevant tools

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and big data analytics platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics)
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles
