Job Description

As a member of our front-end design integration team, you will help bring to life cutting-edge designs. You will work closely with the architecture, IP design, Physical Design teams, and product engineers to achieve first pass silicon success.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual who possesses good communication and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will work with senior silicon design engineers to develop and design tests, corner cases, and checkers to verify targeted features.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding and enhancing Legacy Test plans as per new feature requirements
  • Taking complete ownership of Test plans
  • Developing and designing Tests, corner cases, and checkers to verify targeted features

Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of processor Architecture and micro-architecture, along with RTL vs DV debug experience and testing assembly language and checkers in CPP. They will also be able to quickly learn assembly and CPP, SV programming, and scripting for effective test cases development.

Preferred Experience
  • 12 years experience in Design verification
  • Openness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent programming and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Verilog, SystemVerilog, and assembly language
  • Strong understanding of X86 Architecture and micro-architecture

The successful candidate will be expected to provide technical leadership in the team and identify corner cases, and have excellent debugging skills for complex issues using simulations. Experience with VCS simulation tool, Perl Shell scripting, and a strong academic background in computer engineering or Electrical Engineering are also preferred.
