Lead Design Strategist Role

About This Opportunity

  • Shape the company's design strategy and lead a team of product designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the holistic design vision for products, ensuring a consistent user experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers to foster creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage in early client discussions to shape design strategy and ensure end-to-end design ownership.
  • Establish and streamline design operations to improve scale, consistency, and quality across teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback.
  • Maintain a centralized design system with standards, patterns, and best practices.
  • Present design strategies and concepts to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design AI-powered products or features.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
