Sr Vice President Finance

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr VP of Finance to lead our financial operations and drive business growth.

This role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in financial accounting, audit, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of statutory requirements and real-time decision support systems.

  • Financial Leadership:

The successful candidate will oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements in compliance with IFRS-Ind-AS/GAAP standards. They will ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including ICFR, ITGS Audit, Companies Act, and Banking regulations.

The incumbent will lead statutory and internal audits, managing auditor relationships and ensuring timely and accurate audit deliverables. They will establish trust and reliability with auditors and other stakeholders through proactive engagement and micro-planning.

  • Audit and Compliance Excellence:

The Sr VP of Finance will establish and refine internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring risk mitigation and compliance with ICFR frameworks.

They will collaborate closely with CFOs, SBU Heads, and Chairman's Offices to execute long-range plans for business across verticals. This includes tracking lead indicators, delivering LRP targets, and providing alerts on critical deviations.

  • Strategic Business Partnering:

The successful candidate will play a key role in fundraising for Group companies and drive deliverables with respect to auditors and lead bankers. They will also lead finance due diligence in case of new acquisitions or projects/businesses.

They will continuously look for opportunities to optimize profitability and cash flows, bringing up such initiatives for consideration.

  • MIS and Data-Driven Decision Support:

The Sr VP of Finance will work towards integrating Management Information Systems (MIS) to enable real-time data for decision support and analytics based on GAP analysis.

They will standardize reporting frameworks across functional areas to ensure consistency and transparency, reducing duplication of efforts. They will focus on timely reporting of Budget Vs Actuals across business verticals and Functions.

  • Technology and Process Optimization:

The successful candidate will play a significant role in optimizing ERP systems (SAP), ensuring seamless integration of financial data across functions and system-based in-built controls.

They will drive automation initiatives for critical finance processes, reducing manual intervention and increasing operational efficiency.

  • ESG Integration and Governance:

The Sr VP of Finance will support the CFO in establishing reporting frameworks for ESG reporting initiatives. They will oversee data collection, validation, and reporting for ESG metrics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Team Leadership and Mentoring:

The successful candidate will provide strong leadership to the Accounts team, enabling them to excel in their work and receive cross-training for other activities within the function.
