Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring statutory compliance, and preparing financial reports.

This is a challenging role that requires strong attention to detail, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to support audits and management reporting while ensuring timely closure of accounts and compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Manage bookkeeping and accounting tasks, including recording journal entries and ensuring monthly closure of accounts.

You will also be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices, following up on collections, processing vendor payments, and managing payables as per agreed terms. Perform ledger reconciliations (banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable), conduct monthly GSTR-2B reconciliation, and coordinate with vendors for pending filings. Quarterly reconcile Form 26AS.

In addition, you will ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues (GST, TDS, PF, ESI, PT, etc.). Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to management. Coordinate with external auditors, resolve queries, and provide required documentation. Maintain a strong understanding of provisions of the Income Tax Act and Companies Act applicable to companies.

You will work effectively on Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books. Handle additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian taxation, statutory compliances, and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
