Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Officer - Integrity Specialist to join our team in Pune, India. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business operations comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Coordinating and supporting the implementation and maintenance of an effective Compliance Management System (CMS) for all relevant areas.
  • Performing compliance risk assessments, performance monitoring, and reporting on status and risk-mitigating measures.
  • Serving as support and Deputy to the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Providing communication, guidance, and local consultation regarding Compliance and Integrity obligations.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of the CMS to local management and the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Maintaining clear standards of business and ethical conduct consistent with Mercedes-Benz corporate standards.
  • Ongoing communication and training on compliance requirements for internal stakeholders and external business partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory services.
  • A strong understanding of compliance regulations and best practices.
  • Knowledge of applicable international and local laws, including anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, data compliance, sanctions lists, and other relevant regulations.
