Corporate Lawyer

We are a leading corporate law firm seeking a full-time dynamic and independent lawyer to join our international commercial team. The ideal candidate we seek is looking for a remote work setup with exposure to high-quality legal work and intensive training.

The successful candidate will primarily be supporting our corporate team on US law-related work, which will include M&A, corporate finance, venture capital, fund formation, and representation, as well as specialty international commercial work.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the corporate team on US law-related work
• Providing solutions to complex legal issues in simple English to clients, both orally and in writing
• Synthesizing large volumes of information and presenting conclusions and recommendations to clients
• Working under pressure and/or tight timelines in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Requirements:

1. Qualified as an Advocate in India with at least 1 year PQE
2. An LLB or equivalent degree from an Indian national law school (or equivalent) and ranked in at least the top 20% in their batch
3. Previous experience with a tier-1 corporate law firm in India in the M&A, Private Equity or General Corporate practice
4. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly assess potential for risk and opportunity
5. Proven team player with demonstrated teamwork, analytical, and consultation skills
6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
7. Self-starter with the ability to work under their own initiative with a very strong work ethic
8. Excellent attention to detail with stellar drafting skills
