Research and Development Lead

We are actively seeking a Research and Development Lead to spearhead our team's efforts in product development and improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in synthetic methods, analytical techniques, and relevant products. They will be responsible for leading a team of scientists and chemists to develop new products and processes, as well as improving existing ones.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Literature Survey: Conduct comprehensive literature surveys to identify techno-commercially attractive and non-infringing routes for fluoro-specialty molecules.
  • Process Development: Develop standardized industrial processes that meet long-term cost targets and demonstrate/validate lab-scale process up to commercial scale.
  • New Product Development: Identify, develop, and prepare feasibility reports, cost analysis reports, monthly progress reports, and TDRs for new products.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Team Leadership: Lead a team of scientists and chemists to achieve new product/process development and improvement goals.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess knowledge and understanding of synthetic methods, analytical methods, and relevant products.
  • Data Interpretation: Demonstrate excellent skills in interpreting analytical data from various instruments (UV, IR, NMR, GC, GCMS, HPLC, LCMS, MS).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with GLP, GMP, and IMS guidelines.
  • Patent Literacy: Understanding of patents and literature.
  • Customer Focus: Understanding and accomplishment of customer requirements.
Requirements:

We require the successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Furthermore, they must possess SAP IMS knowledge and be proficient in using it for inventory management and related tasks.
