Job Role: SAP Security Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP security, with expertise in managing user access, roles, and authorizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the creation, maintenance, and management of user accounts, roles, and authorizations in compliance with security best practices.
  • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential threats and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard user access and system integrity.
  • Resolve authorization-related issues, working closely with functional and technical teams to troubleshoot and provide solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of security measures across the SAP landscape.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on security best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation on security configurations, roles, and authorization changes.
  • Monitor security logs and performance, identifying potential threats or performance issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in SAP security, specifically with SAP Basis, user roles, and authorizations.
  • Strong knowledge of security concepts, role management, authorization profiles, and troubleshooting security-related issues.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and how they integrate with access controls.
  • Familiarity with SAP security tools and ABAP/technical aspects related to SAP security.
  • Understanding of security standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex authorization issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
