Network Detection and Response Expert

We are seeking an experienced Network Detection and Response (NDR) professional to lead our efforts in advanced network security, anomaly detection, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

This role requires a seasoned expert with deep knowledge of NDR strategy, IDS/IPS technologies, firewall rule tuning, and detection of advanced threats such as brute force, DoS/DDoS attacks, and network anomalies.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IDS/IPS, firewalls, and network forensics, not just theoretical knowledge. They will be able to take ownership of NDR strategy and proactively improve client environments.

Key responsibilities include leading NDR strategy and execution across client environments, configuring and optimizing IDS/IPS rules, performing deep network forensics, anomaly detection, and traffic analysis, managing and tuning firewall security controls, mentoring and training junior analysts, and mapping detections to MITRE ATT&CK and other frameworks.

Required skills include certifications like CCNA Security, CCNP, CCIE (Preferred), GSEC, strong knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP protocols, expertise in IDS/IPS technologies, hands-on firewall security management, experience with network forensics and Netflow/Biflow analysis, strong scripting ability, working knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework, excellent communication and collaboration abilities, and proven ability to coach and mentor junior analysts.
