Job Description

At SEDEMAC, we are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics Hardware Design Manager to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of innovative electronic circuits and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed electronic circuit designs, including simulation and verification testing.
  • Select new parts, considering factors such as obsolescence, availability, and cost, as well as alternative equivalent parts.
  • Create designs that involve electronic control of electrical and thermal performance in automotive and industrial systems.
  • Evaluate applicable Electrical/Environmental/EMI EMC standards for testing and validation while designing new circuits.
  • Presents electronic designs to the design team and project stakeholders at design reviews.
  • Documents design work and prepares reports, ensuring design files and information are up-to-date and stored according to company procedures.
  • Maintains current knowledge by attending training sessions and staying updated on the latest technology.

Requirements:

  • B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5-8 years of experience in hardware design, preferably in automotive or industrial products.
  • Strong knowledge of analogue, digital, and communication circuit design, including microprocessors/microcontrollers, SMPS design, DC-DC converter, LDO, and schematic capture.
  • Familiarity with quality tools like 8D, FMEA, CAPA, Why-Why analysis, and part/product reliability understanding.
  • Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills, as well as experience managing a collaborative team.
