Pharmacist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, monitoring customer therapies, and providing health and wellness services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where no two days are ever the same. You will be responsible for:

  • Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitoring customers drug therapies and advising interventions.
  • Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
  • Conducting health and wellness screenings.
  • Providing immunizations and other medical services such as blood pressure, temperature measurements, and blood sugar level checks.
  • Maintaining accurate customer records.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy including verifying order entries and maintaining records of controlled substances.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
