Audio Systems Engineer

Responsibilities:- Serves as the primary point of contact for end-to-end feature realization pertaining to their domain, ensuring 100% feature coverage.
- Provides commitments for milestones and sprint releases, tracking progress and escalating any risks or dependencies affecting milestones.
- Analyzes and understands assigned customer requirements specifications (CRS) and change requests, soliciting feedback from stakeholders and supporting requirement engineering teams to manage all requirements traceability in DOORs.
- Interfaces with customers to clarify assigned features and obtains approval for any deviations from required features as defined in customer specifications.
- Leverages strong communication skills to act as a face to the customer from a technical standpoint, representing engineering teams and CPM for their domain.
- Contributes to delivering completed, working features by managing and facilitating the resolution of defects for their domain, clarifying requirements, coordinating inter-domain discussion, and providing direction as set by program managers.
- 10+ years of experience in the automotive IVI or head unit software development & validation domain, preferably as a Feature Owner or Product Owner.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Programming language: Strong in C/C++.
- OS: Linux or prominent RTOSes like QNX, Integrity, or RT Linux.
- Proficiency in real-time multi-threaded software design and development, system programming using IPC, synchronization primitives.
- Experience in IVI domains for audio features, good knowledge in audio and DSP concepts, and exposure to audio source management, pre/post-processing, routing, amplifiers, A2B/AVB, Android Audio FW, and HAL.
$125,000 - $175,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
