Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Clinical Pathology Lab Executive to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of blood collection from various laboratory animals, ensuring the proper monitoring of anesthesia/euthanasia procedures, and preparing and conducting necropsy examinations.

This role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of blood collection from laboratory animals
  • Monitor anesthesia/euthanasia procedures for laboratory animals
  • Prepare and conduct necropsy examinations
  • Conduct and monitor tissue trimming, processing, block making, sectioning, slide staining, and histopathological slide reading for toxicity and efficacy studies
  • Implement and maintain quality control checks for biochemical analysis
  • Develop and implement SOPs related to pathology area
  • Control and supervise the maintenance and operation of histopathology-related instruments
  • Review in-house test results
  • Participate in the planning and execution of pharmacological evaluation projects

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the availability of required chemicals and materials for projects
  • Provide RQA comments on SOPs, Protocols, Reports, and study audits
  • Plan and execute health monitoring of animal and employee
  • Collect samples, analyze/dispatch samples for various analyses
  • Develop and implement calibration schedules for pathology-related equipment
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for pathology lab-related equipment
