Business Analyst - Payments Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in payments domain. The ideal candidate will have approximately 8-10 years of experience in the payments industry, with deep expertise in various payment mechanisms and banking domains.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering and analyzing business requirements related to Wires, ISO 20022, and other payment transfer systems.
  • Liaising between business teams, technical teams, and stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and successful implementation of payment solutions.
  • Conducting gap analysis to identify enhancements in existing banking platforms, especially core banking and payment processing systems.
  • Contributing to the design and optimization of payment processing workflows and ensuring compliance with industry standards such as ISO 20022.
  • SUPPORTING the integration of ISO 20022 messaging standards across banking platforms, ensuring seamless interoperability and compliance.
  • Collaborating on the development and testing of payment gateway integrations, wire transfer enhancements, and platform upgrades.
  • Monitoring industry trends in digital payments, banking channels, and regulatory changes to advise the organization accordingly.
  • Facilitating end-user training and documentation related to new payment features or updates.

Preferred skills and experience include:

  • 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Predictive Analytics Domain.
  • Strong understanding of Wire Transfers, ACH, SWIFT, SEPA, and other international/domestic payment systems.
  • Extensive experience with ISO 20022 messaging standards and implementation across banking platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of Core Banking Systems, Payment Gateways, and Platform-related functions.
  • Familiarity with Banking Regulatory Standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to translate complex payment processes into clear documentation and functional specifications.

Location: We offer flexibility for remote or hybrid working arrangements from Pune or Chennai based offices.
