Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Coding Specialist to join our team at People First Consultants.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing OASIS and documenting recommended changes in approved systems, as well as reviewing ICD10 coding and sequencing from documentation in patient charts.
Additionally, they will be expected to complete documentation of results reviews, ensuring timely and accurate workflow processes, and document the reason for changes and recommended reimbursement impact.
Key qualifications for this role include at least 1 year of experience in coding and OASIS reviews, HCSD certification, and HCSO or COSC certification.
The ideal candidate will also possess proven ability to consistently meet deadlines, high attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Quality assurance work experience in a post-acute setting is a plus for this role.
