Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as a Design Engineer for Industrial Automation Solutions. The ideal candidate will excel at developing autonomous machines and other equipment, collaborating with a team, and solving complex problems.

A passion for creating efficient, reliable, and easily manufacturable designs is essential. As a key member of our team, you will work on designing equipment/fixtures and/or autonomous machines tailored to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing SolidWorks to create detailed and accurate models of machine components and systems.
  • Translating ideas into actionable concepts and designs.
  • Selecting, sizing, and integrating mechanical or process components with oversight from our team.
  • Incorporating fabrication, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems into designs when required.
  • Optimizing designs for manufacturability by choosing appropriate material sizes, ensuring components are easy to fabricate, and designing for fabrication and assembly to reduce the risk of assembly errors.

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks; SolidWorks Professional, Expert, or Associate certification is a strong asset.
  • A solid design background with experience in machinery and equipment development.
  • Familiarity with electrical, automation, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems is an advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience designing equipment for automation applications.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on creating reliable and user-friendly designs.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per annum
