Job Title

We are seeking a Sr. Executive - Blending Specialist to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with experience in blending and quality assurance to work in the distillery, brewery, and beverage industry.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science and postgraduate qualifications in chemistry, microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology, food technology, or DIFAT.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement of spirits in coordination with the commercial department
  • Responsible for blend preparation as per the production plan
  • Selection of spirits and HBS as per the TC/OQC guidelines
  • Analysis of raw materials, intermediate blends, and reporting to the unit head on findings
  • Coordination with other departments for all rejection failures at the unit
  • Calibration of lab equipment, development of calibration plans, and management of operations as per supplier manual
  • Maintenance of equipment as per supplier recommendations
  • Assistance to the quality manager for self-audits of GRMS/GMP
  • Ensuring liquid quality compliance and adherence to quality standards
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience in blending in any IMFL industry
  • Basic knowledge of state excise related to blending operations in any IMFL industry
  • Experience in sourcing ENA
  • Good sensory evaluation skills for spirits, blends, and water
  • Hands-on experience in working in WTP (BWW, DMW, RAW) and entire operation
  • Experience in quality management systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000)
  • Knowledge of working in SAP and Microsoft Office
