Job Opportunity: CAD Design Expert

We are seeking an accomplished Senior CAD Designer to play a key role in developing detailed and accurate 2D/3D CAD models and drawings for sheet metal components.

About the Position

As a Senior CAD Designer, you will be responsible for interpreting project briefs and customer drawings to create manufacturable designs using SolidWorks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop CAD models from project specifications and customer requirements.
  • Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models for sheet metal components.
  • Evaluate design feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with design intent.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience as a CAD Designer in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in SolidWorks is mandatory (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal modules).
  • Strong understanding of fabrication and welding techniques, weld joints, symbols, and sequencing, manufacturing limitations and tolerances.
  • Experience designing base frames, panels, enclosures, and steel structures.
  • Familiarity with design principles for electrical cabinets is a plus.
  • Excellent file organization, drawing hygiene, and BOM preparation skills.
