Job Overview:

The Senior Academic Director will provide strategic leadership to a higher education institution, driving academic excellence and fostering student development through effective administration and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Academic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement curriculum plans, teaching methodologies, and academic programs.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and best practices in education.
    • Promote research, innovation, and academic growth among faculty and students.
  • Administration & Governance:
    • Manage day-to-day operations, academic schedules, admissions, and examinations.
    • Supervise the recruitment, training, and performance of faculty and staff.
    • Maintain discipline, grievance redressal, and code of conduct across the institution.
  • Student Development:
    • Encourage extracurricular, co-curricular, and skill-building activities.
    • Ensure effective student support systems (mentorship, counseling, career guidance).
  • Industry & Community Engagement:
    • Build collaborations with industry partners, universities, and research organizations.
    • Strengthen alumni relations and community outreach programs.
  • Qualifications & Experience:
    • Master's Degree from a recognized university.
    • Ph.D. degree in a relevant field.
    • Minimum 15 years of teaching, research, or administrative experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
