Job Title: Test Automation Manager

We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Manager with expertise in automation testing, particularly within the medical devices industry.

  • This role involves leading, driving, and overseeing automation testing activities across projects in the medical devices' domain.
  • The ideal candidate will review and approve test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by the Product Owner (PO) or Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Oversee all test automation activities across projects in the medical devices' domain.
  • Script Review: Review and approve test scripts prior to submission for acceptance by the PO or SME.
  • Best Practices: Ensure the implementation of best practices in test automation.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and coach engineers in automation testing methodologies.
  • Technical Capabilities: Build technical capabilities within the team to handle complex testing scenarios.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to global healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor emerging trends and innovations in test automation for potential adoption.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years in testing, with at least recent 5 years in test automation.
  • Automation Frameworks: Developing and maintaining automation test frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading automation testing for medical devices.
  • Desktop-Based Automation: Experience in desktop-based automation on platforms (Windows based), FlaUI/WinAppDriver/TestComplete/WhiteFramework.
  • Script Review and Documentation: Hands-on experience in script review and technical documentation.
  • Global Healthcare Regulations: Familiarity with global healthcare regulations.
  • Interpretation and Application: Experience interpreting and applying these regulations in testing scenarios.
  • Team Collaboration: Demonstrated experience in team leadership, coaching, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
