This role will be responsible for leading and managing MEPF design projects, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, innovation, and sustainability. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver projects on time while maintaining exceptional quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Documentation
    • Preliminary design briefs, calculations, and schematics Budgetary estimates
    • Statutory approvals related design documentation/drawings in compliance with local regulations
    • Detailed design reports, standard details, new product introductions, market studies
    • Tender documents, bill of quantities, list of approved products
  • Project Execution
    • On-time delivery of MEPF design phases
    • Effective resolution of any design-related issues that arise during project execution
    • Technical evaluation of vendors and products to meet quality standards
    • Manage all stages of MEPF design for all projects from conceptualization to final implementation
    • Collaborate closely with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders
    • Ensure project timelines and milestones are met without compromising on quality
  • Construction Documents
    • Release accurate good-for-construction drawings and documents
    • Update the project tracker and review all design batches and closures
    • Provide real-time insights into project status, milestones, and deadlines
    • Close RFI's within 2 days and update the project tracker on a weekly basis
  • Compliance and Safety Documentation
    • Reports confirming adherence to safety regulations and codes
    • Comprehensive safety audits and inspection reports
  • Training and Team Development
    • Mentor junior team members with guidance and accuracy
    • Document professional development plans and training records for team members
    • Performance review reports and feedback documentation
    • Ensure adherence to design standards, best practices, and technological advancements
    • Maintain responsibility for the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of all MEPF designs
  • Project Oversight and Coordination
    • Quality assurance and compliance with local regulations
    • Regularly audit and inspect MEPF systems to ensure they meet organizational and regulatory standards
    • Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure safety through MEPF design
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess a BE | B. Tech or ME | M. Tech degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with at least 6 years of experience in Plumbing, Firefighting, Stormwater, and Sewage network design in large projects comprising villas, tall residential, and commercial buildings. Additionally, they should have thorough knowledge of applicable IS Codes, National Building Code, NFPA, etc., and experience in Revit is mandatory.
